This access is located at the end of Dan River Road.  There is a parking area up the hill from the river. The stairs down to the river are usually covered in mud from the rain and are rather deep and steep so take your time going up and down the stairs.

Leaksville Landing in Eden is a relatively new landing. It is off of Hamilton Street in Eden with a nice parking area and stairs down to the river
